It's Time for the TpT Back to School Sale!

The TeachersPayTeachers Back to School Sale begins tomorrow!  It starts at midnight Eastern time on Tuesday, August 4th and ends at 11:59pm Eastern on Wednesday, August 5th.  As usual, all my resources will be discounted 20%.  Using the promo code BTS20 at checkout gets you an additional 5% off so that is a savings of 25% on everything in my store.  Many other sellers will also put their stores on sale, too, for savings of up to 25%.  At the end of this post you’ll find details about a giveaway I’m doing so please continue reading.

I have been working on making some of my resources Google Drive compatible.  Yesterday, I added digital versions to my 2 grammar resources, Much vs Many Grammar Practice and Did + a Verb Grammar Practice.  I also added a Google Drive version to my resource about the Paleolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Copper, Bronze & Iron Ages

I also started creating a new product line of Zoom Backgrounds.  You can use them as digital decor when teaching virtually.  Below is a 10-second video that gives you an idea of what these backgrounds are like.  So far, there are resources with:
* Multilingual Welcome & Hello Backgrounds
* Prehistory Backgrounds
* Mesopotamia Backgrounds
And I’m almost finished with an Egyptian Backgrounds resource.  I'm planning to make several more Zoom Backgrounds resources.  If you want to be notified when they are available in my store, please follow me so you can get the New Resources email newsletter that TpT sends out.

Do you receive my Notes to Followers?  You can subscribe to it through your TpT Account.  I just sent one out and among other things, I announced that I am participating in Tpt’s Digital Beta Program that lets teachers digitize PDF resources.  The Note explains what that is all about.  I encourage you to follow my store so you can receive my Notes to Followers.  Per TpT rules, only 1 Note can be sent every 30 days so I will never bombard you with them.  I use them not only to discuss some of my new or seasonal resources but also to offer information about teaching ELLs and share links to non-TpT materials that I think may be of interest.  You can find my Notes to Followers by going to your Account and then clicking on the Inbox link.

I am also pleased to announce that I’m giving away a $10.00 TpT gift card over on my Facebook page!  To enter, head over there and leave a comment that answers this question: What is one thing you will do to help your English Language Learners in your virtual or socially distancing classroom?  If there are enough entries, I would like to compile them into a future blog post – I think many educators would benefit from your ideas – so by entering this giveaway, please understand that you are also giving your permission for me to include your suggestion in the blog post.  However, if you don’t want me to include your idea, that is fine and just say so in your comment; also, if you don’t want me to credit you by including your first name, please indicate that as well.

You have until 8:00pm Eastern tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4th, to enter; that way, you can use the gift card on the 2nd day of the sale.  Just click HERE to enter the giveaway.  I will randomly select a winner at 8:00pm and notify the winner by sending that person a private message on Facebook.  Once I hear back from the winner, I’ll send the gift card on.  Good luck!

And I wish you and your students all the best for the 2020 - 2021 school year!
